A campaign game about carving up a continent, in which the fighting is not a dice roll. March on a province and the board comes out.

• Everyone plans at once, blind, then the whole turn plays out on the map.
• Meet an enemy army and the province is decided over a real game of chess. There is no way to click past it.
• The pieces you lose on the board are the men you lose in the field.
• About half an hour a match, not half an evening.
